■ Formal letters :- 


[1] Credit letter :-

➡ A Letter of credit is from a bank guaranting that a buyers payment to a sailor will be recieved on time and for the correct amount. If the buyer is unable to pay on purchase the amount is paid by bank.


• Credit letters has 3 types are as follows :-

- Letter requesting for Credit

- Status inquiry letters

- Replies to status inquries


[2] Letter of inquiry :-

➡ A Letter of inquiry is a Letter return to inquire about something that you want to know when writing a Letter of inquiry make sure to mention a list of all the details you would want together about the product you would like to purchase or the service you would like to avail.

• There are two types of inquiry letters :-

- solicited 

- Unsolicited 

- Reply to inquiry


▪︎ Solicited :-

~ When you write an inquiry letter in response to an advertisement it is called solicited inquiry. 

▪︎ Unsolicited :-

~ When you send an inquiry letter to any company or organization on your own initiative to get information.

 

[3] Collection Letter :-

➡ A collection letter is a return notification to inform a customer of his/her due payments. It is an official message to borrower.

➡ A collection letter may include reminders, Inquiries , warnings or notifications of possible legal action.

• Collection Letter has 2 types :-

- Initial Collection Letter 

- Stern collection letter 


[4] Letter of Quatation :- 

➡ It is a formal letter written to quote the price of a particular product or service it is sent by a sailor or service provider when the customer request a Quatation Letter.


[5] An order Letter :- 

➡ An order letter is written to place an order for any items it mentions details of the items required it must specify details like an address for delivery, the deadline for delivery , mode of deadline, etc .


[6] Claim Letter :-

➡ A claim letter is a effective letter sent by a customer to a business or agency to identify a problem with a product or service and it can also be reffered to as a letter of complain.


[7] Sales letter :-

➡ A sales letter is a form of direct marketing that's design to attract potential customer's to your product or service it tells new prospects who you are and how your company can benefit them.


[8] Cover letter :- 

➡ Cover letter are written document typically submitted along side a job application or Resume. They serve as a way for joke seekers to introduce themselves to potentials employers and provide additional complex about their qualification , skills and experience.

• There are two types of cover letters :-

- Academic Cover letters 

- Buisness Cover letters


[9] Instruction Letter :-

➡ Instruction letter serve the purpose of instructing but in the form of letter. This letters 

are used so that the reciever can keep a record of a instruction conveyed

Active listening is a very important skill in communication. Many people only hear words, but they do not truly listen. When we listen carefully, we can understand the real meaning of what the other person is saying. This makes communication more effective and clear.


Active listening means paying full attention to the speaker. It is not only about hearing the sound but also about understanding feelings, ideas, and thoughts. We show active listening by keeping eye contact, nodding, and not interrupting while the other person is talking.


The power of active listening is very big. First, it builds trust and respect in relationships. When we listen carefully, the speaker feels valued. Second, it reduces misunderstandings. Many problems happen because people do not listen properly. Third, it improves learning and knowledge because listening helps us gain more ideas.


In conclusion, active listening is the heart of effective communication. It is a simple skill but very powerful. By practicing active listening, we can improve our personal and professional life.
